Aurora was originally the unreleased Moody Bruce new Transfiguration Suite. The entire suite is a combination of music cues from The Dark Knight Rises. Zimmer took the unreleased track, renamed it Aurora and put it up for sale on iTunes with all the proceeds going to victims.

There's a reason why Aurora can't possibly be the Moody Bruce new Transfiguration Suite. Aurora is simply Aurora. It was composed after the tragedy occurred. The Suite was composed during or after filming, well before it was released.

There is no record of any song being officially released by Hans Zimmer entitled "Moody Bruce Transfiguration Suite." In fact, the entire three-disc "ultimate" album seems to be fan-made. Aurora was released after the theater shooting, but Moody Bruce was NEVER released at all.

Hans Zimmer's official website is still under construction. You're probably referring to "hans-zimmer (dot com)" which advertises itself as "almost official" and is, in fact, not official in any way. It also labels the Complete Score compilation as an unofficial release.
