About the Song
This song was created for my granddaughter Emily, who is about to turn three. It tells the story of our time spent together at the park, where I enjoy holding her hand and letting her take charge of our dog, Darcy. She’s responsible, waiting for me at the traffic light, and we cross together when it turns green. Once at the park, while Darcy runs on the grass, I push Emily on the swing, and we have fun together.

The Process
The lyrics were developed interactively using ChatGPT, improving them through a series of refinements. For the music, I used Suno to compose and arrange the song, including separating the vocal and instrumental tracks. To bring the visuals to life, I used MidJourney to generate images that reflect the story told in the song. Finally, I edited everything together to create the video.

A key part of the project is the collaboration between AI and human creativity. To address concerns that AI creations can feel soulless, I recorded the vocals with my daughter Jordy, my son Cosimo, and myself, after isolating the instrumental track. While the vocals may not be perfect, this adds a layer of human imperfection and emotional connection, especially for those who know us. It also highlights the potential of human-AI collaboration, where technology supports personal expression rather than replacing it.
