REVIEW! CRICUT Iron-on VS SISER HTV- Which one is worth your money?!

Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel.

Today is the beginning of a little series I like to call “Is it worth it Wednesday” were I compare two brands of the same product and tell you which I feel is worth your money.

This time I compared Cricut sport flex iron-on vinyl and SISER easyweed stretch htv and I have to say I was kind of surprised at the outcome.

I’ve used both products in the past but never have I done a side by side comparison like this so I hope you guys enjoy it!

Thank you so much for the comparison ^_^ just a friendly suggestion, you may want to review your audio settings, bc your music is *very* loud and your spoken audio is pretty quiet. But I'm very excited to try the cricut brand now. Was kind of hesitant bc of the price but might save some time vs the siser I've been using.

I am just the opposite. I only use Siser and never have a problem with it cutting. Siser easy weed is truly easy weed.

Why are you cutting on a Fabric Mat? Green or blue for cutting vinyl.

Thank you for doing this comparison. I only use Cricut vinyl when I've been too lazy to order the better vinyl from my usual source. I would also point out to your viewers that 12" is as wide as Cricut makes their stuff. If you go to a commercial supplier they have it in 15", 20", 24", and even 30" widths. I don't even really like Cricut's sticky (permanent and / or removable) vinyl for stickers etc. The HTV I use is mainly Siser, with bits here and there from companies like Specialty Materials (Brilliant Chameleon line for the win). As to the cut differences, that was likely due to your blade and / or machine settings.

How well do they stay adhered after washing. Can anyone recommend a good lasting herb vinyl. I’ve been told to be careful what brand your using as not all vinyl stays as it should.

I used the regular vinyl setting for the Siser brand, admittedly by mistake but it worked perfectly.

Great video! What is your heat press settings when pressing the shirts? Also did you do a wash test on both shirts and how did they hold up? Thanks!

The Cricut htv doesn’t weed nearly as nicely as Siser, but I think it adheres better / quicker !

Loved your video. I’m just getting started so need the info.
Could the stretch Siser require a different cut setting on the Cricut machine?
I cut glitter Siser a couple of weeks ago and didn’t change the setting and it was a nightmare to weed. I had to go back and fix a few spots.

Can someone help me understand how to actually cut the Siser with a pattern? I followed the instructions and then it was backwards from the way I would normally iron the design. I had to remove it, hand place it, pray, and screwed it up...

I feel the same way regarding both. Only issue is I buy in bulk, so the pricing is better buying the Siser in bulk. :(

The cut settings for them are probably different; that is why there was an issue
