PCB50B EPROM PROGRAMMER reading Asus P5K Bios

A very short video showing the latest Willem PCB50B in action. Done on my Iphone so not best quality but shows the latest capabilities. Programs Eproms, Pics, EEproms, Atmel and AVR and this list SPI FLASH , EPROM, EEPROM, FLASH, I2C,PIC, MCS-51,AVR, 93Cxx, ICSP and ISP or in circuit serial programming and in system programming headers.I had typed loads more but Youtube failed to upload and my blog (which was more informative died with it. Anyway the programmer is cheap as chips (Har Har forgive the pun). It could also re-map car chips and I'm sure with a few mods also read and dump car radio bins in system. I have already programmed some old style M27C512 eproms for a project I'm working on and it was done in record time, however need to be a bit more cautious when running the OTP M27C512 as one failed on me probably down to wrong voltage setting. Like mentioned jumper for 3V3~3V6 low volt for SPI Flash (latest board) .

VCC is 3.3v so you need jumper set for that and ber aware there is a OTP block that is not addressable.. As for the IC is was mounted on a 8 pin DIL socket on the motherboard no need to unsolder. Also some eeproms are code protected first sector and this IC has I block lockdown protection which makes it read only unless unlocked. Rg: BP3.BP2.BP1 and BP0 are locked down.

Read the data sheet ans see if it helps. If you still stuck mail me again and I will check it is compatible. You may not be able to read this IC because of PIN placement Ie: GND is not pin 4 and VCC is not pin 8.

Some chips are write protected let me look into it. Sorry about really late reply but only just getting messages back to my Googlemail account for some reason.

My friend did you solder the bios chip into the 8 pin adapter that plugs in Willem Board i have the same board but i haven´t success reading a Macronix M25L1605D, I dont understand that vcc 3.3 to 3.6 v jumper issue, can you help me please, I have the same board as you, PCB50B, I need to fix my dual bios of a Gigabyte P55m-ud2, thanks in advance
