My Childhood Ocarina of Time Cartridge 25 Years Later

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was released 25 years ago. This video marks it's 25th Anniversary. To celebrate I play the very same cartridge I first played 25 years ago... Let's go down memory lane.

I remember playing this in fourth grade... all drawing pictures of Link, talking about getting stuck in the water temple, how great the music was, etc.

My parents recently moved out of the house I grew up in and I found my original strategy guide with all the songs written down by hand. Simply one of the greatest games ever made.

That OG fire temple theme terrified me as a 17 year old 😆. I remember getting oot for Christmas 1998, I was not a fan and didn't even know about zelda but my dad decided to get me an n64 and the game as a surprise, I'm a huge zelda fan now.

I still have this OG cartridge as well! So many memories with my older brother and sister that I’ll never forget. I’m turning 22 this Sunday, yet playing this game as a kid felt just like yesterday. It’s priceless how this game is truly an eternal time capsule for us all <3

A Link to the Past was my first Zelda but Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda I beat and then circled and beat the others. I still have my copy that I bought when I was 14 back in 1998.
