Fun fact. First time in in WNBA history that a Rookie or 2nd year WNBA player has not been on the roster for Team USA. Also in every Olympic roster dating back to 1976, at least two players under the age of 25 made it onto the US women's basketball team.

The NBA has 30 teams and the WNBA has 12. Even factoring in those NBA players that play for another country, I feel there is still more competition for NBA players to make the Olympic team.

Other rookies who played for team USA didn't participate in the 3 year process. Talking themselves in circles. You are naive to think the ratings are going to be the same. Look at the first year stats of the other rookies that had made the team in the past. Stop embarrassing yourselves. She is not in the club.

The problem with some of these argument is they’ve had a rookie on the team 5 of the last 7 times. There’s clearly some bias in the decision making, people saying it’s purely skill or continuity, isn’t being completely honest.

Diana Taurasi, "I had amazing veterans that took me under their wings and showed me the ropes.."
Too bad she and countless other vets in the league have chosen to not pay that forward and instead have been casting shade on Caitlin since she was playing at Iowa.
