I'm glad it wasn't just me that got chills from watching this scene. This, and especially the scene in the aircraft hangar where Rowan tells Olivia, "You have to be twice as good to get half of what they have!", are my absolute favorite scenes of the show. I'm glad this show has the guts to go there and bring up these tough subjects.

I don't like Joe Morton's Rowan. His character is arrogant, prickish, unrepentant and unredeemable. Should have been cut from Scandal at least 3 seasons ago.

Good writing, but Joe Morton ruins everything with his overacting. I think the only thing I've ever seen him in that he didn't ruin was "Speed".
