Reiner is saying EVERYTHING I've been conversing about with my coworkers for the last 3 months solid. They are all Bernie or bust bros and they always say "Either Bernie or burn it down." Why is Reiner the only one who is taking MSNBC's failure (Morning Joe's failure really) seriously? These two air-heads were nervously laughing, then getting defensive about their FAILURE to do their jobs. Even when Reiner helps Mika role-play the inept job she did at asking Trump simple questions didn't get through to them. Dense "talk show hosts", and I use the term VERY loosely. If you can't get a presidential front runner to expand on even ONE of their plans for the country, then you FAIL as a reporter or any kind.

Rob Reiner is simply saying that all media reporters interviewing Donald Trump should do exactly like Chris Mathews (MSNBC guy who's last name I hope I got right) did and keep sharp on point with demanding only straight answers to political questions. He's saying reporters should refuse to accept anything else but straight clear answers, direct knowledge, facts and figures from Mr Trump. At least that's how I understood this clip. Rob Reiner was answering every question with direct info and, what he did not know the answers to, he made it clear by saying "I don't know the answer.. " That's direct and clear.
