1:00 every sport is like that nowadays. This brings more money to the organizers. Hardcore fans are going to watch anyway, they are hardcore fans. The rest will watch only if their favorite wins. So if you want people to watch your sport, make sure the most famous athlete or team wins.
Look at football where they made Brazil win the world cup with "players" like Edmilson, Ricardinho, Anderson Polga, Kleberson and many more that even I have forgotten.
Or F1 where they made the rules so that only one team can win for a decade.
Tennis - the same.
Cycling, same.
Coincidently, it all stated around the year 2000. And coincidently, these clean sports are among the most popular in the world.

I don’t think it’s boring personally. But I also like Dragon Ball Z and One Piece… shows that a battle lasts for 2 months and 1/2 of the fight is flashbacks to the last episode. Pogi is the Goku of cycling right now so as long as he’s on I’m drooling. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you want random close finishes or equity in your racing go watch horse racing or nascar! If there's a runaway winner in some races so be it, that's life and reality, some people are just the best for the time and place, it's not like he's won every stage of everything he's entered, especially when all the big names are entered as well, he's also only riding road unlike MVDP, and doesn't win sprints against the real sprinters, he's not the god of all cycling. Wait for the tour and see the real battle. I think it's great to watch these races that get spread out, it seems more authentic as people are really trying, not just riding in a peloton until the final sprint. I think road racing is great right now, and it's nice to see a guy winning who looks like he's having a blast.

I would bet that at aleats half most likely alot more of the pro pelaton are doping in one way or another, same with any other sport at the pinnacle, considering how much money is involved. Who is the best now is the best, regardless of doping since almost everyone is

I am not an expert on cycling but what I don't understand is: If pogacar is doping, as suggested, why is he not caught and remove from the sport
What I see is an athlete enjoying what he doing and in the races up till now, he ride against very average riders and maybe that is the reason why he is doing well
Coming races with Jonas and stronger teams he will get tested differently
I am not sure if he is doping but I do enjoy what he brings to races as that is what he do...racing 🚴🏼‍♀️

why is not normal? more talent than others is not possible? if you take out pogacar, WVA, MVDP, remco and jonas, then another one will be the strongest and he is 'not normal' :D
