The fact that the whole intro cutscene is so faithfully reanimated/rerendered is insane, but one change that’s genius in retrospect is having Mickey kidnapped at night rather than the morning. I never realized how weird it was for Mickey to be taken on a bright and early morning in the original, it’s so asynchronous with what’s happening in the scene and with Yen Sid’s chambers.

Thq Nordic, I can’t thank you guys enough for what you guys are doing, giving us amazing remakes to amazing games we’ve grown up with, making brand new games based on old properties we’ve grown up with, and even cool original games! You guys are by far my favorite gaming studio and I’m super excited to see what you guys have in store the rest of the year and especially the showcase later this year!
