A discovery of witches was so bad. 😂 After Matthew told her that kissing = marriage, I was done. Glad I got it from the library.

Golly, work sounds stressful as heck, well done for getting through it all still, that sounds so hard. I'm super jealous of you going to Ireland! I'm half Irish and I'm still yet to go haha. Good to see you back

Sending healing thoughts to your mom! My husband and I lived in Ireland for almost a year, so I have a few recommendations... Definitely second the rec for Murphy's Ice Cream! Galway is a touristy feeling town but we had a good pub meal at The King's Head. Kenny's Bookshop/Gallery. The Aran Islands for a day activity. Killarney National Park is beautiful, and Dingle is an adorable town and makes for a great drive. In Dublin, I'd highly recommend the historic jail, Kilmainham Gaol, for a tour! Good food at Exchequer. George's Street Arcade if you're into shopping. Trinity College Library is beautiful! Can't wait for your vlog :)

I have been to Ireland many times, and will be spending Christmas in Ireland this year, as my partner is Irish.

In Dublin, make sure to visit some of the great bookshops, like Chapters, Hodges Figgis, Gutter, The Winding Stairs, and Dubray. Also, the Dublin Writers Museum is really good as well. There's so much to do and see, it's hard to tell all in a comment.

Galway is beautiful. 😊

I live far from family, and it is really hard, especially when they are unwell. Sending you positive thoughts and vibes. Thankfully technology makes it easier than ever to connect!

Okay as an Irish person who's lived here my whole life I have TONS of recommendations for you! In Dublin you need to try Murphy's Ice Cream, even if you're going when it's really cold out this is legendary ice cream (try the salt one!). The cutest cafe/bookshop in Dublin city is Books Upstairs on D'olier Street, their tearoom is super cute and I'd definitely have tea there. Our best bookshop though is Chapters, it's Ireland's biggest independent bookshop and it has a second hand section, it's incredible. (The Winding Stair is also lovely, it's a bookshop and restaurant.) In Dublin you should for sure go to Kilmainham Gaol and do the tour, it isn't expensive and it's just so so good and will give you an amazing overview of Irish (recent-ish) history. If you want to see somewhere beautiful, you can take a train to Bray from Dublin city centre (it only takes a few minutes) and see the seafront, and there is an AMAZING burger place out there (Box Burger) that's super cool and their food is DELICIOUS. There's also a famous hike out there (Bray to Greystones) and it's not too long/hard but really beautiful if you happen to get good weather. I hesitate to recommend Temple Bar just because it's by far the most touristy part of Dublin and so not always the best representation of Ireland, but there is some really cute vintage shopping there, and if you want a lively tourist bar the bars there are always hopping (although if you want a more quirky and more bar I'd try Cassidys on Westmoreland Street, always a favourite). Also, maybe this is a dumb recommendation, but if you wanna try Irish fast food, Supermacs is our big chain (of course we have lots of McDonalds etc but Supermacs is actually Irish) and it's long established that it's better outside the capital so try it in Galway/Killarney. Speaking of Galway, definitely go to Salthill - you can get a bus there for really cheap or you can walk it in 20-30 minutes and it's the best part of Galway, the Salthill Promenade is famous and there's also actually a really fantastic aquarium out there. Galway is honestly just fun to walk around, it's a really small city and super walkable, especially right at the sea. I could honestly go on and on with ideas/recs for you! I'm @karenchamp on Instagram and Twitter if you want any more suggestions or to ask anything!

I hope you know that taking breaks is totally ok whenever you need to!! Life can get stressful and things change, as long as you do these videos out of joy that’s all that matters. We love you either way and the fact that you created the discord group I personally am forever grateful I’ve found a lot of friends and people to talk to about my favorite things on there 💛 I hope the load lightens for you soon

💕💕💕 I’m dying to see Parasite! Also that’s too bad about A Discovery of Witches!! I picked it up for like $5 at a used book store a few months ago because I love witchy things but ahh. I’ve hear such mixed things about it!
