My Dad was a ball turret gunner on a B-17 in WWII. He just passed away in December at 102. We did get him to the Washington D.C. Honor Flight last year, which he loved. Thanks to all for your service.

My great grandfather Ollie Crenshaw flew in the shoo shoo shoo baby and it makes me happy, the third Ollie, to see his plane be honored

Two classic beauties. Like Rita Hayworth and Gene Tierney. Beautiful.

I saw the Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby at Dover Air Force base in 1977 and seeing it again in this video brings me back like looking through a young man's eye's again. Thank You

Looking forward to being there 17 May 2018 for ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for "Memphis Belle". We've been waiting with anticipation many years for this day.

There's a B-29 at Ellington airfield you can go for a ride in. Costly but....

A shame the Air Force removed the 50 Cal's from Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby yet left them on the Belle .

I was a part of the Group that helped Restored Shoo Baby @ Dover Afb, Del. Over 60, 000 Man hours on restoring her. I have video I shot on October 13, 1988 when she left Dover for Wright Patterson. We all were Expecting a “Fly over” @ Dover when she took off but she just took off and NEVER CAME BACK, There were some VERY DISAPPOINTED 😢 People to Include me.IMHO IT WAS A Giant FU to everyone who had a Hand in Restoring her. If anything she should have came back to Dover for the Museum that is there Now.
