Great in depth look into this behemoth of a kit Peter.Just finished up Takoms Jagdtiger blitz kit and it was a blast to build. They really do make excellent kits. Was in the process of tracking down that exact kit when to my surprise you had a review!

Hi Peter
Wandering off the subject of your current video, I’ve just been watching a BBC series on Amazon prime, called “Hot jets of the Cold War” very interesting and informative. I think it was broadcast a few years ago! One part of the series that grabbed my attention, was when they got round to documenting one of your favourite post war jets: the English Electric Lighting. This plane was phenomenal In it’s capabilities as you’ve previously stated in your past reviews. A Mach 2 jet that exceeded speeds faster than a rifle bullet! They interviewed an original Lightning pilot, who still takes one up to this day. He said there is nothing like flying this supersonic jet. Amazing.

Definitely worth the money. The lack of perspicacious instructions is a let-down for a beginner, but this kit is for experienced modellers.

Not quite Ryefield, but it’s up there. Makes you want to build it.

What a quality kit! It would have to be a labour of love to build this - definitely not a quick build (therefore, not for me all that detail). Great review, thanks.

When a kit doesn’t need aftermarket to give it realism, you know you’re on a winner. £100, £200 do we really care? If the quality is present it’s worth it.

So if you want a place to stick your magnetic mine, they’ve left you a bare patch on the turret side.
If you’ve got the balls to walk up to a king Tiger, then go for it😂
