Tribute To Pete Seeger

Singer, Songwriter,Folk Music Icon,Human Rights Activist, Pete Seeger died Jan 27, at the age of 94. He wrote many songs including "We Shall Overcome", Here is our simple tribute(Pete singing "This Land Is your Land") to a remarkable man....

There are very few people on this planet that I consider to be a true hero and a shining example of what it means to be an honest, caring and decent human being and Pete Seeger tops my list. I've always loved his music and admired his work and I always will. Thank you for this loving tribute to a great musician, songwriter,  humanitarian and environmentalist.

Just look at the energy he radiates in the footage....pure, wholesome and noble. One of those rare, integrated beings who knew that at the highest level we are all connected and our destinies are interwoven. He stood up with the marginalized minorities and spoke his truth quietly in spite of the risks to his life and livelihood.
 Another bright light was just extinguished here but as he continues his journey, his essence will continue to shine elsewhere....happy journey Bob. We will see you again when the time is right.

Pete Seeger gone?? Wow tha';s a big I remember him well from my Progressive camp days!  This is historical and musical footage, priceless!!! (Woody Guthrie another name.)Really I am back in time now. What an icon. RIP and thank you for this!!!!
