Callie and Marie are both pretty important characters of the story mode in Splatoon 3. You meet them right after the tutorial and they talk to you during all of the levels. Callie even sometimes gives you power eggs!

Skipping on Splatoon 3, the best game of the licence, for an invalid reason like them not being in the game is not a good choice.

My son plays it as we got it on the cheap just the same ;) Difficult part is finding games as matchmaking is struggling to find players
