I just hired in a small growing company. I didn't what to expect at the beginning and found out that they use this October CMS and now I'm starting learning October CMS

The editor is really cool, it even allowes ctrl+s save. And version control is going to detect the changings you do on admin page, so it doesn't take it into database it works with actual code from your files!!! So you always have two ways to interact with the code which is really great!
Also you can just drag and drop components into code editor to avoid typing {% component %} name :)

Thanks for this :) I spent WEEKS trying to find a CMS that was a good fit for me until I found this. Mega tricky to set up (i'm a novice!) what with the mod_rewrite installation issues I had, but it's fab! The video included in that Bootstrap theme was a bit unexpected but gave me a giggle ;)

if you are using linux, you may be found this error (( X Permission to write to directories and files ))
the solution is, you must change the owner and group of October folder installation which is containing ( install.php & install_files ) to www-data ((( sudo chown -R www-data:www-data OctoberFolderInstalltion )))
