This is my “Master Class” for OBS Studio. I’ve spent basically all of 2017 researching, scripting, revising, shooting, and producing this course, and I’m quite proud of what it’s become. This should be a fantastic all-in-one reference guide with the software, with just minimal updates required for new features.

This course will primarily focus on the Windows version of OBS Studio. I have some minor points that reference differences with macOS and Linux setup, but I cannot currently go in-depth with those versions at this time.

I feel like you should have stressed that remuxing leads to no quality loss. A lot of people might think its a retranscode fsr.

THANK YOU! I recorded in MKV and discovered I can't use that in an editor after hours upon hours of recording an event. I tried converting one file with Handbrake and it took forever. Remuxing was fast and easy, and built into OBS. I'll stick to MKV :)

Tip : MKV remuxed to MP4 has audio problems in Da Vinci resolve, so if you want to use that software use MOV (which you don't have to remux)
