I think, one rainy day you'll find this galette recipe handy for a tasty tea-time 🍓🍯Shortcrust pastry, strawberries, honey, and cinnamon – it's magical 🪄

It's all quite simple here, I'd say, almost too simple 🪄 Save it 💌

🥣 You will need:
- 300 g of strawberries (you can substitute with nectarines, apples, or other berries)
- 3 tbsp of powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp of starch

For the pastry:
- 200 g of flour
- 100 g of butter
- 1 egg
- 25 g of honey
- 25 g of sugar
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

Let's make the shortcrust pastry: rub the flour with cold butter, add sugar, honey, and cinnamon 🤏🏼 The dough should resemble wet sand. Add the egg and mix until the dough comes together.

Roll out the dough on parchment paper or a silicone mat, transfer it to a baking sheet, and sprinkle with a bit of starch ☝🏻

Now, for the strawberries: slice them, but not too finely 🍓 Add powdered sugar and the remaining starch, mix gently to avoid crushing the berries. Spread the filling on the pastry and fold the edges towards the center.

Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes ⏳
