Musicians are usually like gym bros or gals. They will potentially spend HOURS talking about and interacting with what they love, if you want to ask questions or learn.

Everyone is there for the same reason. To create music and enjoy the creations of others. And to improve.

the strangest of this music 46:23 is that it sounds the same but it is not the same, but also not very different. There is a threshold of simillarity and diferentiation and that is a key element for a great progressive house track. It has this soothing atmosphere

Love your work bro! Gets in the mood for dancing and prancing!!! What do you think is the most important bit of kit out of your whole setup? I'm currently building something similar to what you have but I would appreciate getting some advice on what to use as the brains of the operation outside the DAW. I was thinking of either the MPC live, Squarp Instruments Hapax, or Pioneer Toraiz Squid ? Any recommendations?

Seeing you explain your optimal live setup reminds me of what I already knew. You truly are a master of your instruments.

I wish I could catch a live show. This must sound amazing in a club.

That crossfaded snare roll breakbeat is beyond classic. Timeless.

Thanks for your videos! When doing these live sets, is it better to have a tighter, pre-planned sequence of tracks to play, or is it ever good to leave a lot of room for freestyling with improvised beats, transitions, and melodies during the set? It seems like you're always building a musical conversation with the audience during a performance. Are there methods to plan better moments to transition between melodies, or even an average number of tracks needed during a set?

Interesting that your tracks are broken down into just 4 “segments.” I’ve been struggling with whether I need to do 4, or 8 segments personally. Are you typically just repeating the four segments once or twice each song? Or just 4 segments and that’s enough?

what is the midi fighter twister used for?

Lots of simple parts = complexity. I think thats where most people get it wrong. I have lots of synths and they all want to show off and be the loudest 😂
