Olsa Tools 4-Point/6-Point Ratcheting Wrench Set Review

This is the OlsaTools #1145 set, they have a good fit and finish and seewm like good quality. They are a 12 piece set and are a rare 6 point design. They do also have some reverseable ones but these are the non reverseable version

They are also straight because you have to flip the wrench to take bolt out, so you wouldn't want a curve.

Can't believe no one has sent you tools to review until now on your awesome channel! I've got a much smaller channel and I've even been sent a few, including a 12V drill. Anyway, these Olsa wrenches look great I would love to have a set, but I can't justify the cost. My 20 piece Gear Wrench racheting 12 point set was only 40 bucks.

Olsa tools pretty good I have the push to change set I like them a lot although you need to get used to them. I like the 6 point wrenches we are all so used to 12 pt ones.

Great-looking wrenches with 6 pt. open end.  The reversing lever is handy to have, but it does add a bit of height to the ratcheting end.  I like how tight they are at each end, which should make them last longer than many other brands.

The shape of the ratchet socket is designed to insure the turning force is placed on the flat rather than on the points of the nut /bolt to reduce the chance of rounding off the corners.

They seem pretty nice and the price seems very right, the main reason they're straight is because they are not reversing wrenches and if you notice all ratcheting wrenches are straight otherwise when you flip the wrench you would not be able to get onto the fastener and most situations if they had an offset

Pretty reasonable price. You can easily spend twice as much or more.

Those are very nice. I didn't know Olsa made wrenches. I've always admired their aluminum socket rail systems. Ive seen that odd broaching on the inside of 6 pt ratcheting wrenches before but I never knew what it was for, or what the theory behind it was.
If I'm going to be honest, I thought those 6 extra little divets inside were to allow you to loosen/tighten 2 different size fasteners with that one wrench. For example, if you were working with the 10mm wrench, you could also loosen/tighten say an 8mm fastener. You would line up the 6 points on the fastener with those 6 little divets, and as long as it didn't require much torque you could get the job done without going back to the toolbox... I had no idea it was to allow the tool to "wear" in a certain way. Eitherway, as long as it's not for "looks" I'm cool with it.

One little improvement that would help them standout would be a directional arrow stamped into the ratcheting end of the wrench...little touches matter, and sell. I'll etch arrows on my set at some point.
edit: it was easier to just remember that Olsatools is RightyTighty, and Chrome Vanadium is LeftyLoosey.
