New 2020 BMW X6 - £60k coupe-SUV hopes to prove bigger is better

The all-new, third generation BMW X6 has been revealed ahead of its planned debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. On sale now, prices start from £59,340.

Based on the same architecture as the lastest X5, the new X6 is now longer (+26mm) and wider (+15mm) than the model it replaces and marginally lower (-6mm). BMW says this has lowered the car’s centre of gravity and, combined with the wider front track (+44mm), should improve the car’s handling.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the X6. Don't see too many around and always seems to be a head turner... That said, I'm more inclined to go head over heart with the extra practicality of the X5.

I had an X6 and really liked it. The new model has moved things on I think it looks great.

Personally I think this is great looking, previous genre of the X6 never done it for me. This new one has a lot of design touches aside from the roof line that distinguishes it form a x5. Overall I really like it. What the x4 should have looked like.

The rear lights should either go the whole way across the back or stay on their sides, like this it looks like a mid-00's Lincoln but worse

I have a 2010 5i, it still freaks me out when I floor it and the twin turbos kick in, forget about jumping out of an airplane ✈️ at 15 thousand feet definitely no comparison 👍👍👍👍

I'd love to see this in all wheel independent motor electric with integrated nano solar charging kit on the body.. Guess I may have to wait for another decade probably? Or do I ??
