What is Oracle Cloud?

Oracle Cloud is one of the newer cloud service providers, but what exactly is it? Bare metal is not the only option. There are other options. Bare metal is for targeted customers needing the certain benefits of it. There are other options with Hypervisor multi Region, with multi AD and configuration available for customers to choose ... also oracle cloud is ATP (autonomous transaction processing and AWR ready.. it new but robust

I know as background is Oracle, it would be best for me to choose OCI but if I am thinking for the long term which is better for me OCI or AWS or Azure or GCP or any other services as an Oracle apps dba. Oracle cloud tends to compete with Azure typical clients. Small banks, credit unions, healthcare, and insurance clients. Add some low level wholesale companies.

Please don't use Oracle Cloud. They are deleting VMs without any warning. They are terrible service. You will lose all your data. If you don't believe me be at least smart to do backup until it is too late.
