To be honest, Burundi exceeded my expectations. If they had more experience they should have taken their chances and upset Nigeria! But experience is what matters, Nigeria needs to improve!

Thank you my brother. GR was underestimated Burundi so much that is why super eagles was struggling. I was extremely supprise with his starting lineup on that game. He is so lucky to get away with 3 point because burundians played really well and was constantly a treat when they attacked. But I believe our next game against guinea will be totally different approach. Up super eagles. Up nigeria.

As soon as Mikel left the pitch, Nigeria started playing much faster. I would start Moses Simon or Iwobi in attacking midfield & then start Musa/Onyekuru on the left. I don’t see Nigeria going far if they keep Akpeyi in goal because he’s way too shaky & lacks confidence.

I think Ighalo needs to start. I think I agree with your mid-field and attack analysis. Also Musa needs to start. You could see that Ighalo had class with the way he played. Anuache really underrated the team

That goal was a good one, especially the assist, but it was clear offside . Then first half there was handball, it should be a penalty against Nigeria.

Burundi and Madagascar really holding their own in this group.

Nigeria were poor in selection and it was too close for a Nigerian's comfort, but once the right subs were made the class was shown and Nigeria got the edge. Burundi should still believe they can compete.

Madagascar really have come out of no where and are soring to new heights no known players just a team, Guinea had defensive lapses and their class and experience bailed them out.
