Server Side Data Storage - Rest APIs In Depth

Показать описание
Let's take a look at the various types of data storage options available to us on the server.
We take a look at in memory storage as well as text file storage using JSON in both theory as well as code using Deno.
Then, we discuss tradeoffs amongst these and other data storage tools and concepts like relational and object databases, key-value stores and others.
We will be using in-memory and json text file storage for this course but we'll see how this can be expanded to include things like SQLite and other database storage technologies.
Chapters:
00:00 Introduction
01:08 Data Storage Overview
03:41 Data Storage Options
07:27 In-Memory Storage
09:05 In-Memory Code Demo
21:37 Text File Storage
24:24 Text File Storage Code Demo
37:41 Key-Value Storage
40:21 Relational Databases
43:52 Object Databases
46:17 Other Storage Options
48:07 SQLite in Deno
49:07 MongoDB in Deno
50:21 Next Steps
