The nicest DIY stove I've seen yet. I'll be looking for some of those canisters now. Thanks!!

Hey BC, thank you so much, this is one of the better, more practical things of this sort that I've seen and I've watched a lot of them. I got into zip stoves and such back in the 90s but it wasn't until this 'rocket stove' craze that I got back into it. This really looks good and easy to do too. I love them dogs!

My son's starting to camp on his own now. He's buying alot of small gear but wants to get his own, "not use Dad's stuff" anymore. That's cool...I get it!! This stove here is awesome...he'd love it!! A father and son project...but....let him do it. It's better that way for him, and will be a great "useable" memory made.

This is definitely the best home built gasifier stove I've seen built.

I`m pretty handy at this stuff, I was gonna buy one online, but would mean so much more to me if I did this project by myself! Thanks man! Jeff

Over the years I have experimented with larger and smaller holes. More or fewer holes. Higher and lower holes. This combination of hole size, amount, spacing and elevation from the bottom was arrived at through many stoves and much tinkering. Try it! It was fun to figure out what worked best for me. You may find a different or better way of building one and I’m sure you’ll have fun if you’re a tinkerer like me.

Thanks for sharing the design. I have made one and will be taking it to Cebu, Philippines next October for my wife’s family

Very nice! I hope you won. Lots of people run on about the math of the stove against hole sizes and so on, but this is all you need to no. Thanks, enjoyed watching

Thats the best looking gasafire stove Ive seen. Thanks for the vid. A stove like that could save a lot of lives in third world countries, where they suffer from respatory disease from cooking on wood fires inside their houses.

Great video. Was going to use the paint cans from Lowe’s but the stainless looks a ton better. The only hangup I had was the top. I’ll be using your solution as my use of jb weld made it permanent. Great idea on the handles and feet made it tricked out.
