As an alternative to taking the curtain down, take your favorite all purpose cleaner and give that liner a couple of sprays once a week. And leave the curtain pulled all the way across so it can dry properly.

If you have a shower wand, give the liner a quick rinse before you get out to get any soap scum off it.

Use vinegar to get rid of hard water. A lot of humidifiers ask you to just soak them instead of scrubbing so no parts are damaged. Vinegar will take the hard water right off.

I used to clean AF housing for moving families. I always used the DW for the stove vents. Look brand new after!
I use a glass carousel from discarded microwaves to keep my counter clean/clear of crumbs, too.

I use spray bottle with tea tree oil and water and spray the liner after every shower. It helps prevent mildew and mold. Once a week we wipe down the liner and shower curtain with a cleaner that also disinfects. We also put them in washer twice a year because we spring clean twice a year and deep clean when ever someone gets sick.

Just add your oven top grates to any self cleaning oven. I add my drip pans to them as well. Turns everything into ash finer than your distant relative that just died...and you can flush it down your sink. Unlike your relative; despite wanting to.

Best way to keep your clothes and washer dryer clean is to not use fabric soften or dryer sheets.
Fabric soften is horrible for you clothes and washing machine. Basically it forms a waxy layer on your clothes and machine. That's why your sweat wicking clothes won't work if you use fabric softener.
Vinegar is often recommend as a fabric soften which does work, but can also be harmful to your machine.
Wool dryer balls work well with no damge and line drying your items prone to static can help.
