Boss are the market leader for loop pedals and with good reason: aside from their quality, they have something for everyone. But the range can be confusing so in this video we talk you through the key differences between the various Boss Loop Station pedals.

Very good video. I’ve been playing guitar for 50 years, but have been wishing something like a really good looper pedal was available for about 48 of those years... these Boss pedals, especially the RC-10, are a dream come true. Thanks for showing the actual capabilities and differences among them, without all the ego-driven bullshit that 99% of the looper videos on YouTube seem to be driven by.

Probably one of the best product reviews I've seen in a long while. This is extremely useful - thank you.

Content wise, great video. Loved the way you described it in sort of a "least-to-greatest" amount of features.

Film horizontal when on a phone so people will stop filling your comments section with useless complaints that say the same thing over and over again.

More light!! Get rid of those raccoon eyes and light your face evenly, you can achieve this with a lamp placed on one of those nearby amps. Haha

Cameraman was fine, just turn the phone. Haven't looked at your latest stuff though, might be 10x better, just what's on my mind now. Great informational video! Thanks a lot!

Very helpful introduction and overview. Saves me visiting the store and asking you to say it all again.

No extra hole needed for me, thank you very much.

For those crying about the video format....grow up. It is an informative video and that's it. You don't need a special format or aspect ratio to gather that info from it. Half the comments here about the damn recording quality. When I started playing guitar we were excited about our VCRs having auto tracking and stereo if we could afford it. Not to mention a video presentation like this one that you get for FREE cost us about $49 back then so please sit back and shut up.

Dude what’s with the portrait mode video? Say Landscape 5 times every hour for the next week as punishment.

Just some filming tips:
Ditch the cameraman for a bipod, and just edit in still shots when you need to get close up on gear.
As everyone said, film horizontally.
Finally, strong lighting helps a lot when filming. Good footage can take an obnoxious amount of light.

Great overview. Would love to see you add the rc500 to this

I have the Rc-3. The drums leave much to be desired, but the ability to have multiple saved loops is pretty cool.

With the mic in jack, I consider the rc-30 the most versatile loop on review here as you can add sounds/instruments through a mike into the loop.

Good explanation of the possibilities of these loopers. I have an RC300 which is fantastic but it's too big for busking, think I'll get an RC1 for that, keep it simple.

Great vid. Say do you know if I could plug it into another boss unit like a multitrack, I have a portable battery operated multitrack a br532.
I'm wondering if I can plug in a boss rc loop peddle and use my microphone on my multitrack. This way maybe I dont need to get the boss rc 300.

Maybe the boss rc 3 will be enough?

Thank you.

Ditto X4: 1 memory bank; 5 minutes recording time.
It's a toy.

These are workhorses.
