I took a hard look at carrying a dumb phone and it should not be a big deal other than when traveling. Anything that I need a smartphone for, I can easily do from a tablet or computer. When I am out of the house, a dumb phone would be fine. I am going to give this a shot. I love the retro vibes, I remember having one of these back in the day and life was much simpler

My biggest challenge with a dumb phone is that I need so many apps just for basic daily things... drivers license, official authenticator for any login, work authenticator, payment, etc...

Great review. I'm all for the retro tech being given a second life. Maybe I'm old lol but the nostalgia of simpler times with my Nokia brick is joyful and it's nice to see that "dumbphones" are resonating with younger generations

I think dumb phones shouldnt just be rereleased old phones. I still want a very good camera, the ability to pay with my phone via NFC, the ability to use Spotify and maybe even the option to use apps like Lidl Plus in Germany that gets you discounts when shopping for groceries. I realize that what Im describing is basically a regular phone without Youtube/Tiktok/Instagram installed but I just lack the will power to not simply install these apps again when Im bored

*dumbphone* This takes me back to a simpler time. I didn't have this Nokia model, but a friend of mine did and I remember it being so durable.

My thought is that the dumbphone is a niche product for those who want a more balanced lifestyle where they aren't always tethered to their smartphone. I for one, appreciate the good things that the smartphone has brought and try to balance its use with other priorities in my life.
