I've seen a lot of Mirotic playing on the Bulls. I don't think salary is what is keeping him from the NBA more like defense and shot selection.

Vezenkov the most underpaid. He should definitely be in this list in the near future.

Better to be a Euroleague star than a bench player in the NBA

So the 2017 Žalgiris roster had 3 of the best and best played players on it, in Micic, Pangos, and Davies.

You guys need to update this. Facundo Campazzo earns 300K per month which is 3.6 million a year. So he is second on this list, just behind Mirotić. Also, Vildoza earns huge money. Zvezda has roster almost in range of Barcelona Real and Efes. Their budget is just a little bit less than budgets of the mentioned teams.

Sheesh… How much is De Colo making now?
Teodosic? Vezenkov? Mahmutoglu? Kalinić?

These names could easily be on NBA salary. Great content as usual 👊🏾

They are getting paid a lot more than playing for the G-League but pass on an opportunity to make tens of millions of dollars a season in the NBA. Getting on an NBA roster from G-League is no guarantee though and they get to stay close to home in the Euro leagues. A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. If they a aren't guaranteed an NBA roster spot they might be better off staying in Euroleagues.

The interesting thing being Mirotic coming back from the NBA and earning a lot less than he could have had across the pond.
But money is not everything right ?
I can understand there are things in the Amaerican "system" that are insufferable. Being happy, being (mentally) healthy is priceless.

Miroric would’ve definitely made more in the nba

Nikola Kalinić should be around 1.5 after taxation. Bojan Dubljević is also one of the highest paid centres in league.

Ahahah Belinelli Is really Ridiculous!! But his contract was signed 3 years ago, and to win Eurocup.

There's no way these figures aren't higher than what's being reported, I don't buy for one second that players just want to play in Europe solely because it's close to home. Just from a talent infusion perspective, there's significantly more talent flowing into Euroleague than say the CBA (another high paying league that has salary caps of $3 million USD for foreign players)

I don't think you know the exchange rate.
