I saw something like this in a TAS once, for the N64 version of The World is Not Enough. It was a similar situation too, where you confront Elektra and she does the whole "you can't kill me, you'd miss me" thing and then when the cutscene ends you shoot her and the mission is over.

Because there's a long delay (like here) before the mission ends, the runner figured out that the mission would still complete if they died after killing Elektra, because of how long the death animation is in TWiNE. Of course, the only way to die by that point in the mission is to run back to the stairwell you came up and jump off of it to plummet to the bottom. The way it plays out, it feels like Bond DID miss her and so goes to commit suicide after shooting her.
