How to use PRESTO on the new TTC streetcars

Its easy to pay with PRESTO on the new TTC streetcars,.

1. Tap your PRESTO card at the fare card readers by the doors to pay your fare. After tapping on the device, your PRESTO card acts as your Proof-of-Purchase (POP) and can also be used as a transfer for connecting TTC vehicles/routes.

2. If you like, after tapping on the fare card readers by the doors, you can also get a paper transfer from the fare vending machine by the middle doors just tap on the "PRESTO transfer" sensor by the doors, hold it for a few seconds until the paper transfer is printed out for you. (Since all TTC vehicles and routes now have PRESTO, you no longer need a paper transfer except for very very rare instances.)
