Those pants are extremely cute! Isn’t it amazing when pants fit? It’s some type of magical. I’d make many more when pants fit.

I love those plaid pants, great job! You are right, it is easy enough to sew pants, but fitting them is a different story. Thanks for sharing.

Omg the red check pants are adorable on you!! What a super fun idea to put the side panel in on the bias💖💖

I'm impressed with how you matched up the checks and most especially the side panel and pockets cut on the bias! Fabulous!

I would love to see a Pietra pants video. I have purchased the pattern but am nervous to cut into fabric to try it.

I ADORE the side panel! It would not be as effective if it wasn’t a check. Very nice!

Hey, you did a great 👍🏻 job with the pattern matching. I love making trousers, once you understand the adjustments your body requires they are a pretty easy make. Best of luck with Patrion,

Hi Claire. I'm so happy to see you today! You're pink gingham pants are so cheery. Sorry to hear that your husband lost his job. Hopefully things get back to normal soon. I haven't made pants, but they're in my immediate plans.

I love the style of the pants and the fact you used buffalo check, as an insert on the side seams. Really a nice fit for your body type.

Those look SO comfortable! Great job! YES on the blue crab and solid blue side panels. Please do put those in the queue and let us see them.

I absolutely agree that the challenge in trousers is the fit, not the making! I now make a proper muslin ( only cut out a short version to check the fit ). That has been a game changer for me! These are great pants and look cracking on you! 😍❤️- I have just cut them out following making a muslin. I am very happy with the fit now after a little bit of a tweak in the crotch rise at the front. I’ve cut out the wider legged pair in linen. I have also just made the Pietra pants and can recommend them too 😁👍

Love them Claire, they look great on you !!! Would love to see them in linen I have a beautiful olive green in linen I would love to try. Make sure you post if and when you make your linen pair. So glad to see you safe and sound. Stay safe. I’m here on the frontline as an RN in the intensive care unit and it’s been difficult when all you want to do is sew. I have put that to good use sewing masks and caps for us frontliners inbetween shifts at the hospital. I can’t wait to make something for myself and this pattern looks so comfortable. Please be safe. Take care of yourself and your family ♥️
