So when the primer is on you tape over it a bit and apply ur chosen paint, but the u will see the primer on the edges, right? Or did I miss something?

My primer is not peeling off. Do I need to heat it in order to take it off?

if peelable black paint was purposely sprayed very lightly and then smeared around and wiped down to make a fake prop appear dirty, would it still peel off, or does it have to be sprayed as a full thick coat? Im trying to come up with a way to do removable weathering.

Then why do people wrap the cars when they just can paint it and then when they get stone chips, they just can remove the painting and paint it again? Wrapping is a more complicated process than painting like this.
