Timelapse of Radiation Fog Growth and Dissipation

This timelapse shows the onset, growth, and eventual dissipation of a radiative fog layer on the night of 6-7 November, 2017.

In November 2017 we conducted an experiment at the Cabauw Experimental Site for Atmospheric Research to observe fog at high-resolution in the near-surface. Using an LED light strip and a GoPro Hero4 Session camera, we were able to observe fog in the near-surface.
