I know this tutorial is years old, but I'd like to say that it has been very helpful. If TheMonkeyLords ever reads this, which is very improbable at best, then I'd like to thank him for all the instruction. Learning Python has been a journey of great excitements and annoyances and you've been there for me. Once again, thanks for the help.

I need to do the following things
a.Create a telnet object in test script 1
b.Store the telnet object reference for further use
c.In test script 2 retrieve the telnet object reference
I tried doing this using pickle. . But pickle is not allowing to store telnet object as such

Is there any work around for this...

Is it possible to define a class instance, give it instance variables, and pickle it? If so, will the instance still have the variables after being unpickled? Also, what is EOFError?

Maybe a list of users who have access to your program? (followed up by an else statement denying access)
