Fun fact: The orange version of the Vahi represents it after having fallen into the sea and being eroded by the seawater (It had also cracked, and was leaking time energy into the water around it, requiring Vakama to fix it while still underwater).

Can you believe Bionicle G2 had a Mask of Time in the novels that is the upper half of this Vahi, would be an awesome compatible throwback if it ever made it in a set, but at least we have the fans who made them.

I always though the orange Vahi looked like cheese, particularly a rather strong cheese, probably why I always preferred how it looked in gold.

I might be mistaken but if I remember correctly the orange version of the Vahi could also be found in mask packs around 2001. at least the packaging advertised it on the European versions

I've got the orange Vahi mask with the Lego magazine or the Bionicles comics in France back in the 2000s.

I actually own 1 my grandaddy got it for me from a Lego Charity event out in Long Beach. It's by far one of my favorite pieces in my collection

I thought it was funny that the title is “the Bionicle mask you don’t own” because after reading it I literally looked straight up at my wall where I have it displayed with my mask collection. I don’t have a very big mask collection but I was lucky enough to come across a Vahi for pretty cheap a few years ago. I can’t remember exactly how much it was but I think it was around $15 USD which was too good to pass up. It’s just the orange one but it’s still a really cool piece. I’m still trying to come up with a good moc to put it on though

I had some of the orange ones! :D They were distributed as promotional goodies in 2002 for subscribing to an official Fanclub in German-speaking countries in Europe. (called 'BIONICLE X-Pert')
