All support is hugely appreciated and it helps me keep the channel going!

No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk around Ambleside Town in the poring rain. Walking through the centre of town we come across a heavy flowing river that passes under a house on a bridge. Bridge House was built over Stock Ghyll more than 300 years ago. It was purchased by local people in 1926 and given to the National Trust. Listed Grade I, the building is now used as an information centre for the National Trust, and is part of the Trust's Windermere and Troutbeck property. We continue around town until reaching St Mary's Church and have a look inside before finishing walking around the Churchyard. A lovely wet walk. Do enjoy :)

About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I will mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!

I upload every Sunday 11.45am GMT (3.45am PST) (6.45am EST) (5.15pm IST) (9.15pm ACST)

It really does help me so much! Not just coffee but also things like petrol, car maintenance, overnight stays in places, parking tickets, admission and entry fees to places I wouldn’t normally go to, it really does go a long way helping me make content for everyone!!

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to YouTube. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

Absolutely the best walks for the treadmill. Things I like most about your videos - there's very little editing. We can hear your footsteps and birds singing. You don't speed it up like some do, so it's like they are on a skateboard! Plus, you stop and look at interesting things. And very importantly, you don't edit out other people who pass you on your walks. That makes a big difference, especially to women who walk alone in real life. It makes your walks feel safer.

I am of English/Welsh descent. I long to live in England. I am so worn out by the descent of America into hell. I love the sound of the rain.😊

Blighty looks so atmospheric here in the rain. The historic streets and stunning architecture make this walk feel like stepping into another era. Thanks for capturing the moment!

Me born in America. West coast. Seattle area. Lots of rain. I’m now 70 and living in the desert. I miss the rain and the fresh cool wet air. Some think I’m nuts because I like the rain, but that may be because my ancestral roots are in the British Isles, and the fact that I was born at the base of the Olympic Rain Forest. My soul is acclimated to rain, ferns, moss and the smell of the evergreen Forrest. Thanks for your efforts in bringing us all your relaxing videos! Have a fun day !!!!

When someone misses England, they rarely miss the tourist spots and the popular places. It is often the daily route to work, the walk to Tescos, or even walking to the GP lol... The double yellow lines on the road. The cobbled streets.. The blurriness of daily rains. SO thank you for this <3

I enjoy taking walks in the rain. Raindrops on the foliage, the umbrella, wet feet, rushing water, other routes... it's all wonderful for a rainy English day!

Dave, I cannot comment enough on your videos. Going through a very rough patch in life right now and having your videos up while I go about my day on the computer has been so helpful. Thank you again

Spent the day here in the 80's on a school trip to do a walking survey. Beautiful little village, the kind of place you want to wake up in. This is the real England.

I love walks in the rain. Rain drops on leaves, the umbrella, wet footsteps, rushing water, alternate routes ... it makes it all a perfect rainy English day!

Nothing better than walking through the English countryside especially in
the rain and wearing a raincoat with a pocket filled with snacks and bottles of water in case I get hungry and thirsty.

Ambleside is a lovely town with lots of charm and character.
Its two mill wheels are remarkable as well as the old house which bridges!!.
The streets and houses are very, very pretty too.
The church and its cemetery are worth a leisurely visit.
The interior of the church is magnificent.
It was raining, but that didn't take away from the charm of this walk.
Thanks Dave.

This makes me so homesick for England. I moved to Australia 14 years ago and still miss it incredibly.

My first time visiting with you, AND I LOVED IT! The every day nit and grit of living, topped by the beauty of this magical place called England. This Yank, a native of Texas, hopes that some part of Heaven will be like this and The Good Lord has a spot for me there. Deepest Gratitudes for a wonderful experience, thru your lens!
