Robert/Rosemarie Stack ..a fairytale marraige Part 1

The success of live television is the most collaborative of all efforts in Broadcasting. It takes a great team of producers and techs to make it work. I had such a team in Boston. This is one of the over 4,000 hours of live television that we produced. Robert and Rosemarie Stack agreed to come to Boston for an interview. Behind the scenes, we plotted with Rosemarie, his beloved and wonderful wife, to surprise Bob with old friends. Hope you will watch all four parts.

Thanks so much Eileen for posting this terrific clip. I had the pleasure of working with Bob and Rosemarie on "It's A Great Life" in 1985 and with Bob for eight seasons on "Unsolved Mysteries". I can assure you that the Stacks were as wonderful as you might imagine. Bob was kind, humble and so much fun --- with a slew of delightful stories to share with all of the staff members. And he always went out of his way to make each and every one of us feel important.

Hes best known for the Untouchables and Unsolved Mysteries. He wasnt a movie star per se but was a famous character actor. Robert Stack, James Earl Jones, Ricardo Montalbon, David Hasselhoff, Cybil Shepard-these people were famous but were really always character actors.

What year was this show done? Jerry Paris died in 1986, and I'm guessing that's not too long after he appeared on this show.

I watched Robert from the early 90s until the late 90s hoping to see that my mom was looking for me but it never happened. well I found her in late 98 and found out she was as heartless sack of shit and never cared nothing about me. she in fact come from a long line of criminals and hustlers. Her self, mom and grandmother included. I ain't shit either no matter how much I try to be different.This story began and ended in New orleans Louisiana
