Sometimes, real-life data may have missing figures or values, maybe as a result of respondents that didn't respond to a particular question or due to human error typing in the values.

There are option as to what to do in situations like that. some may delete the variable or replace the missing value. the latter is advised. instead of deleting the variable, it's better to replace the missing values with the mean of other values or by inputting random numbers.
Replacing with the mean is better.
