Brampton cracking down on slum landlords

Brampton has been piloting a residential rental unit licencing program in several wards in order to hold landlords accountable to safe standards of living. Landlords operating 1 to 4 rental units are required to register for a licence and have proper ventilation, fire alarms and electrical work.

Question: Why is it that we have these problems with Indians only:
1 Slum landlords.
2 Slum tenants, living 5 to 10 to a room.
3 Protesting on the streets to renew their work visas.
4 Protesting to get a pass mark even though they have failed.
5 "Studying" in shady private colleges that have the shortest duration courses and least tuition fees.
You never hear about other nationalities into this.

We have to crack down on common sense. Max occupancy we can’t have 20 people in a house!!!! On my street in Brampton almost every house in last 5 years turned into rental. Garbage problems, massive rats and flies and wasps, excessive speeding on my culdisac and have told city and they have done nothing while renters almost hit kids 4 times. We have people living in garages and they doing things against the law and that’s why Brampton house fires and death have risen due to city allowing as many people as possible to live in a home. Plumbing fixtures floor structure etc not made for commercial use and excessive foot traffic homes from the 1960’s were not designed nor the piping and drains. Liberals have made every single problem worse and that’s why citizens are pinned against each other due to the caos cause by our rich politicians who do t care about rule and order. Safety and common sense not a thing under liberals.

Over 600, 000 people living in Brampton ...And the city holds a media meeting to tell them " We taken 46 complaints And fixed them" LOL ! I bet this year alone you have had homes burn to the ground, Staircase code violations that lead to injuries And lawsuits, electrical, 9 people in a 1 bedroom, Mold, no smoke alarms, Not zoned for rental, And a slew of other Landlord Tenant act breaks ...

I would never live in Brampton... They have been tainted sadly and over the few short years of immigrants increasing from a particular country it seems it has gotten worse...

When shit happens then you will hear why the city didn't crack down on these slum landlords.. ducking bill them for excess garbage and other city run business. Raise their property taxes. U can't build a 3 bedroom house and have 12 persons living inside. Driveways are extended so 6 to 8 cars can fit.

Why are these landlords not paying more property tax compared to single family units. They have 10 people renting while we are one family of four or five.
