This movie did a really good job at keeping your attention all the way through. It’s the way Baz cuts between shots and has interesting montages like this, it wasn’t just another safe, run-of-the-mill musical biography like Bohemian Rhapsody

Absolutely LOVED the movie but as a huge Elvis fan I really wanted to see more of 60s Elvis. I mean, I understand that in that decade E mostly made movies & it wasn't possible to include everything but I would have loved to see certain iconic scenes like the Can't Help Falling in Love sequence or the Bossa Nova baby performance which was apparently even shot!

baz luhrmann was the perfect director for this film. he manages to bridge elvis' era with the present times perfectly, still mantaining the integrity of the elvis' era.

Perfectly encapsulates what both Elvis and Britney went through. Both put in a gilded cage in Las Vegas and were overworked due to the financial abuse of their handlers. Young people know the free Britney movement so it’s great that Lurhman wanted use that as an example of what was about to happen in Vegas.

Saw the movie at an IMAX 2d theatre last night. Absolutely amazing on that huge screen and the music was phenomenon. People stayed through the credits afterwards. Baz is brilliant and Austin had better win an academy award!

I have to be honest, I wasn’t a huge fan of Elvis at the time but I was aware of his music when I watched “Lilo and Stitch” as a kid. I really think this is one of Baz Lurhman’s best films next to “Moulin Rouge”. Not just because of the editing and the music but also that you have a much more detailed complex picture of Elvis. Plus Austin Butler was so perfect playing him!

This movie is incredibly entertaining, seen it 3 times now, stunning in every way, and the music is incredible, the best biopic ever!
