Zillow offers is it worth it when selling a house

I have a listing that's under contract. I represent the. seller but he was curious to see what Zillow offers was all about even though we had his house under contract in just a few days after receiving multiple offers. For some reason Zillow sent e the responding e-mail. The seller and I went over the numbers side by side. We were both shocked by how much money he would have left on the table had he went with Zillow Offers

So wait a minute... if I pay an agent I already losing 5% what about time? Fixing? ... it’s not always right or wrong is what will fit for the homeowner.

Could it not be argued, that due to the sale price below asking price, that the negotiations essential wound up to be the price of "repairs"? if no repairs were actually made, but the price was lowered for work that needed to be done, I would fit that into the same category, though this is nit-picking, as it wouldn't change the actual difference in money earned. Great beard by the way, my hand will never be steady enough to trim that precisely.

It still depend on which agent from Zillow works with you. Some agent just NOT professional but some will be good.

If you get an agent and the home doesn’t sell is there a fee to the agent if it goes unsold?
