Why I use Energy Field

i have once read that with energy field you can siphon a dropship, you get the shields of the ship, and the four grunts inside

I love energy field, though I mostly use it to slow down pilots and ruin their day, especially when they're all using the archer

I main maelstrom but energy siphon is still awesome, so is faster rearm and reload lol. All tier 2 upgrades are pretty solid and straightforward

I prefer Maelstrom ONLY because I have this ridiculous desire to make my Titans double up on the benefits of Frontier Defense, and I'm not a big fan of changing around my Titan load out. But everything is useful in this game for one strategy or another! Energy field allows you to hit a billion things, and take shields from them all! Which is pretty amazing. And a "healer" Monarch literally doesn't function without it.

Though to be very honest, I'm not one who's ever told anyone what to do in Titanfall... Because it's silly to tell folks to use one and only one thing, when everything is viable in this game and I love it. Best Multiplayer FPS ever! Literally ever. No competition.

Hey whatever fits your Monarch is good....I'm rather very skillfull with Monarch, and I only have Maelstrom to deal with people who rodeo your titan constantly even if they already rodeo you once, and got your battery....which I have named...rodeo bullies.
