How to Use UBoot to Debrick Your GL.iNet Router 2021

This is the latest video that shows you how to use UBoot to debrick your GL.iNet routers.

You may have bricked your router if you were doing some DIY projects or flashed the wrong firmware. You may not be able to access your router but you can re-install the firmware by using Uboot failsafe.

How to change the IP address for Mac users:
1. Go to System Preferences - Network.
2. Choose Ethernet - Advanced -TCP/IP.
3. In Configure IPv4, choose Manually.
4. Set the IPv4 Address to 192.168.1.2 manually.

When i start to roll set the bottom light is on and the top one starts blinking 5 times and then moves to the bottom and middle light only... And I can't access the co figure page. I do everything that's on the video

I tried to replace firmware with vanilla openwrt in luci on my mango, and bricked it. Following this tutorial I was able to do it and it works now. 👍

hello i have the same problem debricked and unable to get it flash again with the debrick method my AR750creta all the led lights up ...is the any guide for loading the firmware putty method using serial connetion since the board have serial pin out ...the support for technical form GL-inet is very poor with technical know how to solve problems

Help! I followed all the instruction on the video for my GL-MT3000 Beryl AX (using firmware 4.5.0) it says update firmware successful, but it stuck on booting again and again. I've also tried load using older firmware 4.4.5 but still not success. what should i do

For GL-X750(Spitz), uboot only worked on WAN port, not LAN port (only a single port connected at a time)

I'm not getting the indicated flashing pattern on my GL-AR750S Slate... you mentioned to check if the reset button is broken--I popped the shell open and it looks like the button does properly depress, what else can I do?

I have a GL-AR300M that always powers on but rarely does anything else. I've tried different cables and power sources but can't find any rhyme or reason to what works. I've been trying to factory reset and also de-brick back to uboot but it simply won't connect nor light up the other two lights (aside from very briefly when I first plug it in sometimes). I have a second one that I did this process to and it works fine with the same cables and everything. Is it just a dead unit in terms of the connection ports?

i am trying to uboot with 4.5.0 version of openwrt img file for gl mt3000. but it's taking too much time to update. Mentioned that i was trying to install snapshot firmware of openwrt. After that it was taking too much time to ipdate snapshot so I have to switch off the power of the router. Now trying to uboot update for GL mt3000 frameware and it’s also taking time too much. like 4hours+ have passed already. Please help me out from this issues. I am unable to reset my router as well as not able to access root/wifi ssid.
