Correct me if I'm wrong, the platform will run on US Dollars? If that's the case then such a platform defeats the whole purpose of financial independence. The entire purpose of AfCFTA and a common currency powered by a Continental payments settlement system is to remove the USD from Intra-Africa Trade.

I'm really worried about the effective implementation of AfCFTA and a common currency.
