Hey Linda, Can you post Heathers The Kneady Homsteader's go fund me page. They were hit head on by a drunk driver and Matt was killed and she was hurt very badly and the kids were hurt also. She is going to need all the help she can get right now. God Bless

Pickled smoke sausages!?! Genius!!!! I can't wait to make my big half gallon jar full of pickled eggs and sausages and onions. I will love it, but my hubby will absolutely die for it! Hmm now I'm motivated to eat my last spicy pickles out of the jar to get it emptier sooner....not that I need motivation for that LOL. And the hubby is coming home with farm fresh eggs today from a friend!
Love your videos and recipes Linda. Been following you and making many of your recipes for years now. Btw .. Something I just wanna share, I came into a lot of dried asian chilis during harvest last year and added them to my canned sliced cukes and my whole refrigerator pickles. I opened the jars maybe a month ago or so, and the spice is phenomenal!! I know you love spicy, not sure if you had ever tried using the chopped dried chilis so had to share 😊 plus it's so beautiful! I did a couple handfuls in our big fridge jar, and a T or so in my canned quarts. They add a lil smokiness too.

Hi Linda, I not sure what I am doing wrong with my tattler lids. I got a 3 dozen last year and practiced with water to get an idea how they work. Two week ago I canned black beans and thought all my lids sealed but found two of them that lost the seal. I was very exact on head space and tightened them down right after I removed them from the canner. Did you have the same problem when you first tried canning with them? Maybe I just need to keep practicing. I know you have been using tattler lids for years and it seems you do not have the same issues. Any help or suggestions?

Have you tried these a few months later? I wanted to pickle some eggs myself but wasn’t sure so I purchased some and they were disgusting to say the least. Just want to know how they taste as well as the texture weeks or months later. Good video!

I posted on several channels Tuesday & the news went wild. It must have been reposted by so many. I can't imagine how I would be if faced with her situation. First thing, my husband and I are wimpazoides when it comes to hot sauces, so I've been trying to find a recipe for these sausage, onions and eggs without taking the top of our head off. I was thinking V8 juice, some chilula, and vinegar. Any suggestions?

If you like egg salad, these hot eggs are pretty good cut up and mixed with regular hard boiled egg salad for an extra kick. I usually do 2 reg / 1 hot in my egg salad mix.

You should try boiled eggs and beets in vinegar and water with hot red peppers to taste. As you eat them you just keep adding beets and eggs as you eat them.
