The team looked slightly better defensively in the first period, but only because the Lightning gave us the ice for the first period, cuz they couldn’t find their legs… then the game turned into usual, and for 80-90% of the game, it looked like the defense was chasing the Lightning players around like they were playing monkey in the middle with a couple of middle schoolers, and the offense couldn’t even complete a pass, and it was just dump the puck, lose the puck, dump the puck, lose the puck over and over and over again. This is PATHETIC HOCKEY

I’ve made this comment several times. This team is poorly constructed. O’Connor is not more than a third liner. We do not have a first line winger. We have a bunch of other teams cast aways. How is this team going to win when they don’t have the talent that other teams have. You made great points DK re some of the players. That’s valid. But the team is not constructed well. I didn’t expect anything more to be honest. I said at best they’d be 22nd in the league (bottom 10). It’s obvious when you see the lineup.

Here is a crazy idea for the team. If they are angry, hit someone! I am so tired of the Penguins playing 5v5 defense like they are perpetually on the PK.

DK, I have a question. Am I missing something, why is nobody talking about David Quinn and his accountability as an assistant coach responsible for defense? What about his connection with Erik Karlsson and making him better both on defense and PP? Also, PP is better, but nowhere near where it should be, right?

Why does Grzelcyk get so much playing time. And Graves is in the dog house? Grzelcyk literally plays for the other time while wearing a pens jersey hes so bad and he gets top mintues it makes no sense at all. That guy is literally a bum

After Saturdays game we don't play till Wednesday. If we get 3 or less points in those 3 games I'd say Sully is done.
