My name is Jens Larsen, Danish Jazz Guitarist, and Educator. The videos on this channel will help you explore and enjoy Jazz. Some of it is how to play jazz guitar, but other videos are more on Music Theory like Jazz Chords or advice on how to practice and learn Jazz, on guitar or any other instrument.

The videos are mostly jazz guitar lessons, but also music theory, analysis of songs and videos on jazz guitars.

Damn.
Music theory is a bitch, you think you have it figured out and then someone throws 15 Cmaj7s at you

This type of video is like a beautiful, animated, chord encyclopedia, with perfectly arpeggiated audio. More please!

I really like hearing the chord shape at the same time I'm seeing it. Thanks for sharing!

I've never seen or played some of those beautiful chords. I must learn (slow) jazz & drink beer with Jens!🍺👍

My favourites are definetely 8, 9 and 14. You can make a great lydian voicing based on the same shape as 14 (so what) if you move that shape up to the 14th fret (and leave out the root of course).

These are beautiful, although I think #7 is my favourite. Thank you!

Very nicely presented - video- and sound-wise.
Regarding favorites, #4 was a workhorse.
( together with X3545X and X3243X)

On the other hand #3 is totally disfavored because of the dangerous finger joint angle.

#16 low to high 8, 10, 9, 9, 12, 12. You can leave out the B on the D string. It's a bit of a stretch, but it sounds awesome.

Great video. Could you do one like this showing Barry Harris' diminished 6th voicings and maybe Drop 2 voicings for a major scale? Lobe your videos, I have learned a lot from you. THX.
