Btw, to everyone: you CAN ask for a new doctor. If you don't like a doctor or nurse, you are allowed to ask for a new one

I do t remember the scientific name, but she has two uterus. 26 days apart- usually this causes each uterus to alternate with the ovaries (only if both form enough to have periods- most of the time one uterus isn't fully functioning.)

Fun fact - kidneys form at the same time in fetus development, so kidneys forming partially can also happen

It might be a bisected uterus that the person earlier was talking about. I didn’t realize that my uterus was bisected until right before I had my partial hysterectomy. I was also told by the doctors that they were surprised that I was able to carry my daughter to term and my son to 36 weeks.

In this case a woman can get pregnant twice and have two different fathers. There are two chambers so you could have baby in each chamber.

Full story. She didn't know she had two uteruses so she did in fact have another baby. The second one was hiding and that's why the heartbeat didn't pick up on the other baby's ultrasounds. I've heard of this happening but not this close together usually its about a 4 month difference.

I have 2 uteruses but 1 cervix. I also had 2 water sacs. Dr had to break the second one. My son loved to stay more on the right side of my belly. He also came 2 and a half weeks early. At my first ultrasound when we found out the nurses had never seen it before and were curious about my twin sister!

My grandma was pregnant, she had a miscarriage. Then found out she was still pregnant with a baby over a month further then the fetus she lost. Apparently she has 2 uteruses and can get pregnant in each one at different times though the older one pushed smaller one out essentially. Also y red some months she would have 2 periods while other months she would have none which is why she didn't know she was pregnant right away along with her one uterus still shedding it's lining till it says fertilized

I had a cousin with two uteruses and two vaginal canals. Poor girl had all the doctors come and look at her when she was 13 because they couldn't figure out why her tampons weren't working.

thought the lady we know was the only one with this rare condition.
If it wasnt for the doctors deciding to do an exploration surgery to see what was happening (a week post delivering her son), there is no certaintly she would be alive today.
She had 2 uteruses, one at the back and one at the front. she had triplets that she didnt know about.
The doctor saw it and decided a c-section was best for the twins as the opening in which the children were suppose to ho thru to exit wasnt functional as a birth canal.
She had no choice but to deliver via c-section which she had done.
She is a happy mother of triplets and didnt want to go thru that again, so several months post birth, she got both uteruses removed.

It is called Uterus Didelphus. It's a real medical condition it is a hereditary thing. If you have it your mom likely has it or partially. It is rare to get pregnant in both, but entirely possible. A woman was in the news just a month or 2 ago having a baby in each uterus.

I remember when my mucus plug went and my water broke. I went into the hospital and the person at the door was super rude to me. When I told her my water broke she goes. Are you sure? And I'm like yeah and she's like well. You don't look pregnant enough for that. And I was like I'm pretty freaking sure. And she goes. How far along are you? And I tell her that I'm 36 weeks and she goes okay fine and sent me upstairs
