Sean Hennessey brings an international perspective to healthcare strategy. A native of California, he has lived, studied, and worked in Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom, in addition to the United States.

Sean’s path to healthcare was an indirect one. As a high school student, he lived in West Germany and experienced the fall of the Berlin Wall. He studied East Asian Studies with a focus on Japanese literature at Harvard College and earned a Masters degree in International Affairs at the London School of Economics before returning to the Bay Area to work as a consultant. He returned to Harvard for his MBA, then went back to London where he worked in investment banking before returning to consulting for McKinsey & Company, where he finally discovered his passion for healthcare strategy.
